I’m just getting started with the whole concept of adding video to the Better Life Blog. To kick things off, I asked a bunch of people “What makes you happy?” Take a look at what they had to say.
Now it's your turn -- tell us what makes you happy. Just click on the "Post a Comment" link below.

Finding the driving force in people and alluring them into using it to attain what they want with a sense of joy makes me very happy. Having a balanced life, even when things are off center, makes me happy. Knowing my loved-ones live in a good inner place, amazes me. Feeling confident and having a deep sense of gratitude puts a big smile in my heart.
Telling YOU about it, makes me very happy.
Thanks for asking!!!!

It may sound corny but after watching the video and reading the other posts, I REALLY feel happy hearing other people talk about what makes them happy. I think this is contagious so I hope lots of people post what makes them happy as it seems to increase my happiness!

After seeing the video post, there's a common thread -- that our relationships with other people vs. material stuff truly makes us happy. I need to remember that sometimes because I do get caught up in it all.

Cool video. I asked a similar question last week: "What do you love about your life?" We've go a growing list of responses over at Mefeedia. Check them out here:

Michael - LOVE the Vlog clip isn't it amazing how in 15 seconds of voiceless video we can say so much.

I think for me, it's certainly my relationships... also being creative, expressing myself, and having people like that. :-)

Being content but never satisfied is what keeps me happy. I love breathing in and soaking up the present. Whether it's family and friends, a beautiful day, or a moment of peace and quiet. Yet at the very same time its about the journey... the forward motion of thought and personal goals... the hope of things to come... learning... exploring...stepping out in faith that I believe suplies me with the ability to be content. It's a nice circle I think.

On a beautiful day, sitting on the front porch in my wicker rocking chair. Another thing, hanging sheets on the clothes line and watching them blow in the wind!! I know it sounds like a simple life...it is and that is what makes me happy!!

In the evening, back after the work, all family members are sitting under one roof, happy, contented, with no malice for others is what I term as better life.
