How To Become A Superstar

ShineAs you look at the Stars crossing the stage during tonight’s Academy Awards, do you wonder what they have in common? If you could learn what it takes to become a Superstar in whatever you do, would that interest you?

I recently finished a great book called “Shine: A powerful 4-step plan for becoming a Star in anything you do” by Larry A. Thompson, Hollywood film producer and personal manager to over 200 stars.

He says that stars aren’t simply born – they explode themselves into existence. And you don’t have to be in the movies to be a Star. No matter who you are or what you do, you have unique Talents, a special “Star Quality”, and opportunities for success. But to unlock your Star potential, you need to shine a light on yourself and your dreams – using methods that have worked for countless celebrities.

I’m meeting with Larry over the next few weeks to discuss how he can provide his expertise and strategies to all of you. I’m excited about the possibilities and I’ll keep you informed.

I was very fortunate to attend one of Larry Thompson's Project Rise & Shine Workshops in Los Angeles. It was a life-changing experience for me. Larry Thompson's heartfelt and engaging book, SHINE, reveals how Talent, Rage, Team, and Luck are the keys to ultimate success. Personal and exclusive celebrity stories accompanied by easy-to-follow exercises make the book and his workshops entertaining as well as instructive. No matter what your profession or desire, Larry shows you how to be the best - how to be a STAR - at anything you do. I know that I'm on my way!

After reading Larry's book I feel that I now have a new awareness about what my true potential may be. The great lesson that comes from knowing Larry and his work is that...the journey of self discovery never ends.

A couple months ago I saw Larry Thompson on the Dr. Phil show, and heard there about Larry's book SHINE!
I was MOVED up the stairs, dialed in to the internet, got to amazon.com and purchased the book. Then found his website Project Rise & Shine.

When the book arrived I immediately sat down and started. I was riveted. It is a great book, very motivational, empowering.

Larry's words and passion for what he is trying to do to help others, motivated me to do the work pages. It made me think about my life, the things I have done and accomplished. Some of the exercises made a profound impact on me...made me aware of some of the really good things I have accomplished, helped me realize more of who I am.

No matter who you are or what you do in life, you will do yourself a favor by reading SHINE and doing the exercises. You will be better for it.

Thank you Larry for the gift you have given me.

WOW!

After reading Larry Thompson's book, you'll believe you can Harness the Power of the Universe! I can't begin to tell you just how enjoyable, thought provoking, motivating and inspired Larry's 230 page Tome really is! It's no wonder he's been the personal advisor and trusted manager of so many Hollywood Stars…

Honestly, I feel like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and Larry Thompson just opened my eyes revealing that I’ve actually had my “Ruby Slippers” on all the time! My yellow brick road may still be littered with Flying Monkeys, Wicked Witches, Self-Important Munchkins, Idiotic Advisors, Rusted out Maintenance Men, and Cowardly Champions, but Larry’s ingenious 4 step plan for success SHINES like Glenda the Good Witch from the East! So now it’s time for me to roll out the Red Carpet on my Yellow Brick road. I’m looking down now at those Ruby Slippers. My heels are tapping with great enthusiasm, and it’s my turn to SHINE!

Auntie Em! I’m ready for my Close-up!

A life in progress..That's how Sly Stallone describes Rocky. A life that SHINES, that's how Larry Thompson describes our lives and thank God he does because watching the Rocky movies makes me feel on top of the world and so I now know,I too, can see the Eye Of The Tiger. Mr. Thompson has generously and graciously written SHINE to guide us to the miracles that await to be unleashed. He teaches, if you will, that the formula of TALENT, RAGE, TEAM & LUCK is universal and that by learning and practicing them we can achieve our hearts desires and then live our lives to their fullest being. It takes work and patience and constant learning. Larry Thompson has now joined the ranks of such great teachers as; Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. John Gray, Dr.Deepak Chopra, Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen, naming just a few. I believe his personal journey and lessons for happiness have been bestowed on us so we too can enjoy the the journey! I very much look forward to hearing him in person and perhaps even a follow-up book, HOW WE READ,LEARNED AND NOW ARE SHINING!! Thank you Larry A. Thompson.

I hope your meeting with Larry goes well. I have read his book and spent considerable time on www.projectriseandshine.com. I know I found my path! The code at the back of the book gave me free access to his Good Luck Club. Very, very cool! It seems that Larry regularly reads and updates the site which I like. I filled out my road to stardom and by seeing what other members have written, it's obvious I'm not alone in trying to figure out how to be the best at what I do. I am hoping to meet Larry personally someday either at his workshops or more here at Better Life Media. I'm staying tuned!

I had already crystallized my vision of being a best-selling author and
inspirational public speaker by the time I read Shine. But reading Larry's
words really helped me to see the specific formula needed to succeed in my
goals.

I spent some time, years ago, being tumbled around in the Hollywood meat
grinder, and jumped out because it was just too hostile. I couldn't see how
anyone could succeed without being a back-stabbing S.O.B., so I dropped out
and moved on with my life. I quit doing standup comedy and began focusing on
my writing. I landed a job with MSNBC.com and wrote for them for over five
years. In the meantime, I began and completed my first book.

With a lot of focus, determination and hard work, I got my book published
and began the process of getting it into the mainstream. However, after my
experience with "show biz" I was reluctant to get involved with the
entertainment machine. Larry's book showed me that there are people within
that world who believe the way that I do, that working toward a noble cause
CAN succeed. His specific formula of Rage, Talent, Team and Luck allowed me
to plan my work and work my plan.

Since reading Shine, I have renewed my enthusiasm and have made tremendous
strides toward achieving my goals. One day soon, my name will be well known
and I'll have Larry to thank for it.

Thank you, Larry, for taking the time to write your book and for building
the Project Rise and Shine website, with its Good Luck Club. I am using the
tools you have provided to keep on track and am seeing a difference in my
path.

See you on the red carpet!
